About me

Dr. Aron is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and has been on our faculty since 2023. Prior to joining our division, he was a faculty member in the Division of Nephrology at Stanford University School of Medicine where he was awarded the division teaching award and the Section of Nephrology at Yale University School of Medicine. Before pursuing his nephrology training, Dr. Aron also was on faculty at Harvard Medical School while working as an oncology hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

During his time at Stanford and Yale University, he grew a specialty clinic in glomerular disease and was heavily involved in teaching nephrology fellows including spearheading efforts to develop a nephrology point of care ultrasound curriculum. He has authored reviews on practical genetic testing in kidney disease and has been invited to lecture at various institutions on topics such as microgravity’s effects on salt and water handling and practical genetic testing for the clinical nephrologist.

Dr. Aron is a passionate clinical educator and is involved with teaching at the medical school and internal medicine residency along with the nephrology fellowship.

His clinical interests include glomerular disease and genetic kidney disease.
