About me

Pavle Doroslovaki, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in oculoplastic surgery, namely, in conditions affecting the eyelids, tear ducts (lacrimal system), and eye sockets (orbits). He is also trained in the evaluation and management of neurological conditions that affect vision (neuro-ophthalmology).

His clinical interests include eyelid malpositions, tear system abnormalities, orbital disease (both of the bone and the contents of the eye socket), comprehensive ophthalmology, and neuro-ophthalmology.

Dr. Doroslovaki takes a conservative approach to surgical procedures he performs, which include, amongst others, blepharoplasty, ptosis (droopy eyelid) repair, correction of eyelid malpositions, removal of eyelid lesions and bumps, reconstructive eyelid procedures, orbital surgery, blocked tear duct surgery, and more.

Dr. Doroslovaki completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. He received his medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, where he also did his residency in ophthalmology, at the Wilmer Eye Institute. After his residency, Dr. Doroslovaki completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and then an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In addition to English, he is fluent in Serbian and French. Outside of his practice, Dr. Doroslovaki enjoys spending time with his family, black-and-white film photography, amateur astronomy, and snorkeling.

Philosophy of Care
An extremely important aspect of my practice is empowering my patients with information. I communicate in a straightforward, clear, and transparent way in order to educate them about their condition and the potential treatment options. I want my patients to make an educated decision about their care.

I enjoy communicating with other providers and I'm always willing to give my opinion and my advice to referring physicians in order to help patients. Collaboration is the key to successful treatment. I aim to be a compassionate, down-to-earth presence for patients while providing practical care.

    Excellent customer service

Dr Doroslovacki (sp?) was very thorough and thoughtful. He took all steps necessary to determine I had an emergency and took extra steps to write a report for me to hand carry to emergency room so there would be no delay o. Diagnosis abd i.e. Treatment. I really appreciated that. He was firm in his instruction for me to go straight to Emergency Room.
